Infographic about the Irish in the United States

Happy St. Patrick’s Day all! Here at AAA Windows 4 Less, we work with a diverse range of customers here in the Bay Area, a region that represents cultures and communities from around the world. As such, we thought it would be appropriate to share this infographic about the Irish in America today, along with some fun facts. With strong representation in neighorhoods like the Sunset District in San Francisco, the Irish are a big part of the Bay Area’s past and present.

Today, according to this infographic, there are over 35 million Americans who claim Irish ancestry, along with 150,000+ Irish-born, naturalized U.S. residents. Nonetheless, we Americans have a ways to go as there are actually more Corona taps at bars and restaurants in the United States today than there are Guinness taps. Not included in the infographic, but more relevant to glass and the Irish, did you know that the famous Waterford Crystal is named after the city of Waterford, Ireland?
